We are looking to hire an Editor in Chief to join our team. This is a full-time remote position and a true opportunity to redefine media and PR by leveraging a community of stakeholders.

As Editor in Chief, you will grow a community of stakeholders producing and distributing accurate, high impact content.

💪 A strong candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and writing skills (native or fluent English speaker)
• Strong campaign planning and coordination skills
• Bias towards using data to support decision-making
• Enduring optimism, kindness, and curiosity
• Working intermediate understanding of PR, Media, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing functions
• Good mind for high impact content distribution strategies
• Zeal for playing editor and storytelling
• Strong curiosity or understanding of the crypto landscape (Bitcoin, DeFi, NFTs, smart contracts, etc)
• Can work West Coast US hours comfortably

Roles and Responsibilities

🤝 Editor

• Develop and execute content campaign strategy alongside the Freehold community
• Maintain high bar for quality control from content creators
• Identify and nurture leaders in the community who can help scale the editing function
• Work with product to build features for you and the community to work more impactfully
• You will help define goals and rally the community to achieve them
• Collaborate with the Freehold Team and its community towards a shared vision
• Have real fun with the community
• Moderate and create agenda for community calls such as the recurring monthly challenge forum, monthly town-halls and weekly community sync

🌿 Growth

• Identify and nurture leaders in the community who can help support you and scale your role
• Track keyword growth, awareness, and funnel conversion
• Initially manage partner relations when needed to help the community achieve a goal or grow in size
• Utilize Freehold distribution channels (Twitter, Youtube, email, etc.)

Salary Range: $85-95k

Equity: 0.45 - 0.65%
